BRIAN O. CROOKS

Lieutenant Colonel Brian O. Crooks, USAF  (retired) has over 24 years of distinguished leadership in Cyberspace Operations.  He is an expert in

directing large-scale, high-stakes IT enterprises, managing multi-million dollar portfolios, and building resilient network architectures from the tactical to the strategic level.  Proven ability to lead diverse teams of hundreds, influence national-level policy, and ensure zero-fail mission availability for the Department of War and executive-level leadership.  He is dedicated  to driving organizational innovation, infrastructure modernization, and operational excellence.

Crooks last served as the Deputy Chief of the Future Concept Division, Plans and Policy Directorate, United States Cyber Command, Fort Meade, Maryland. He led a group hand-selected subject matter experts in executing innovative concepts to shape the future cyber domain supporting air, space, maritime, and ground warfighting.  

Crooks entered the Air Force in 2001 as a graduate of the Officer Training School after completing a bachelor degree in

Electro-Mechanical Engineering from the New York City College of

Technology.  He has served in a wide range of leadership positions at

the installation, Air Staff, Combatant Command and National

Government levels.
